Book Latte: Pancakes in Style

Hernz called me one late (very late) afternoon and we decided to see each other at Book Latte before he left for Manila (teary-eyed kidding!). What makes this cafe different is from the name itself, the mini library!

I'm a self-confessed bookworm and I have always loved Santa Montefiore's novels, the philosophies of Paulo Coelho and my recent obsession for John Green. My love for books started with Carolyn Keene's Nancy Drew and I don't want to exaggerate but I read hundreds of it, from Nancy Drew Notebook to Nancy Drew Mysteries (the ones in hardbound).

Book Latte is located in Quezon St. at the Robinson's Place Iloilo (few steps away from the entrance of the mall -National Bookstore area). See their books: Chic Lit Collection and Random Books inside the cafe. And everyone is welcome to apply for membership.

Aside from pasta or sandwich that I usually order here, I tried their pancakes. Pancake with Strawberry Syrup and Chocolate Chips (Php95)

Pancake with Blueberry Syrup and Cream (Php95) with my Strawberry Smoothie (Php85) which is not in the photo because I was too lazy and busy playing Candy Crush. Haha! And Book Latte serves waffles too and a wide range of beverages from coffee to iced drinks.
