You just won't miss this little, cute, pretty and all the wonderful adjectives I can say, at DVSoria in Cagayan de Oro City called The Sweet Shop at the Park Cafe. As what I've posted before, I always research about each restaurant before trying it out myself. The main reason why I wanted to try The Sweet Shop (aside from the fact that I always crave for sweets) is because I found out that they serve Strawberry Shortcake from a random site. But to my disappointment, I did not see any strawberry shortcake when I inquired about it, but anyway, the place is worth a try.
The place is really eye catching because of the girly girl princessy feeling it gives that would definitely attract girls ladies like me, especially pink lovers. I'm not good at tangibly describing the place, the photos will just do the talking. The Sweet Shop at The Park Cafe is located in DVSoria right in front of Xavier University- Ateneo de Cagayan.
Now let's go to the part I love the most- choosing what to eat. They serve cakes and cupcakes. My ever favorite Blueberry cheesecake is for Php110. What to choose? What to choose?
Cupcakes price ranges from Php45 to Ph65
Cupcakes price ranges from Php45 to Ph65
I am your hopeless romantic dreamer, waiting for someone to give her sweet treats on Valentine's Day.
Mango Cream Cake at Php85 is worth it, my craving for sweets was satisfied. It was filled with real mangoes and fine cream, so soft and heavenly.
Chocolate cupcake at Php65. This cupcake is perfect for those who are conscious with their sugar intake. It's not too sweet and doesn't suit me. xx
Also ordered Custard Cake for Php60 but I did not take a photo of it because you'd wonder and whine why it is sold at that price. It looks like the usual pastry I see in the bakeshops in Makati which is only for Php10.
The Sweet Shop also customize cake designs, the unique stuff is, they can make a design from a photo you want to benchmark- it can be a photo of yourself, you and your lover, your family or even your dog? And to sum up everything, I guess I was more excited about the mini place rather than the food. But it was definitely a sweet treat after all the challenges I've been through at work. <3
