It seems just like yesterday when I made the last minute decision to go back to my hometown from Cagayan de Oro City. I was deployed in CdO for two months and before going back to Manila, I wanted to be inspired from my deteriorating passion for work. For once, I felt seriously all grown up. I arranged the booking of my CGY-ILO plane ticket and rebooking of my ILO-MNL flight. My home is my refueling station- the best place to regain the motivation and drive that I need in order for me to work harder and better. My home does not refer to an abode. My home refers to the people who love me and the people I love and care for.
I left CdO last August 29 and I can clearly remember how I felt while waiting for my departure in Lumbia Airport. I wanted to fast forward every minute and every second because all I wanted to do was board the plane and step on the soil where I grew up. I stayed in Iloilo for four amazing days. I can say all the positive adjectives I want because I was just so excited and meet my family and friends again.
I wanna share my Iloilo City photo diary (just random photos).
My last U-Day parade (as a legit young student).
U-Day opening program at Central Philippine University's big field as viewed from Engineering building's third floor.
My new favorite milk tea- Wintermelon Milk Tea with Pearls from Mang Cha-a and I also tried their Vanilla Milk Tea the next day. Yummy and healthy!

My first time to set foot on the new Iloilo Esplanade which was formerly called Boardwalk (because the Boardwalk billboard used to be there). I'm finally starting to see concrete improvements in Iloilo City.
We walked one end of the esplanade to the other end. And of course, rewarding ourselves with Pinoy's favorite- street food. I bough Kwek-kwek and Fish ball.
I also attended the Engineering Picnic and take a sneak peak on our lunch.
The next event was the Engineering Blind Boxing. I've been watching it for 5 straight years already. This is what you call boxing with a twist because the two boxers are blind folded and they have to find their opponent in a sea of people and touch/hit the enemy first.

That evening, I had lunch with the Engineering Debate Team and the lovely younger girls and a boy at Mooon Cafe.
I also dropped by the island of Guimaras.
And everything happened so fast. I then saw myself, saying goodbye (again) to my home and travel back to Manila. :( Although, I love Manila too!
I'm hoping to go back to my home pretty soon. <3
