Why do I love eating my breakfast at Banapple? Okay, to be honest, I ate my breakfast at Banapple some time ago because they were playing Justin Bieber songs inside. I was strolling around Ayala Triangle in Makati that time and I was looking for a place to eat (and looking for a peace of mind).
The Ayala Triangle is my favorite spot in Makati City because of the relaxing view, the trees and everything green. It is bounded by Ayala Avenue, Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue that forms a triangle. I am a city girl by heart, I love the skyscrapers as much as I love the mountains. I love the vast highways as much as the plains. And I enjoy running after buses as much as running in the fields.
Banapple is located at the Ayala Triangle and I love having my early morning breakfast there because it is not yet crowded. When evening falls, Banapple is full of people because of their good food or if we Filipinos would call it, pinipilahan. A lot of people would wait and form lines just so they can eat inside. It is well known for their pies, cheesecakes and desserts.
On my first breakfast, I had a Banapple Smoothie (Php105).
And I paired it with Bacon Fried Chicken Steaks with Milk'shroom Gravy (Php175)- crisp chicken fillet smothered in a creamy milk and mushroom gravy topped with bacon pieces and served with corn relish.
And last time, my Engineering classmate Hershey and I ate our breakfast there after she went home from Guam. We ordered Lasagna Rolls (Php180) for each of us, talk about "people not on a diet".

When I was in Cagayan de Oro, I always ordered Lasagna rolls because I just feel over satisfied. Lasagna is rolled and stuffed with parmesan cheese and herbed cream and smothered with tomato sauce, lots of meat and mozzarella cheese. Blogging about this thing makes me want to eat more and bring some for Jessie because I know how he loves Lasagna and I know he is aware of how heavy this is and I know he is gonna get fat. My thoughts bring me to Iloilo City, wherein I will do lots of food hunting come December.
Although, I am yet to try Bannaple's pies and cheesecakes tomorrow or anytime soon. xx
