Nuvali: Short Trip Down South

I had my own little road trip and I thought of stopping over at Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It was a bit gloomy when I left Manila and at the very moment I arrived in Solenad, the heavens started to pour out its mercy. I remembered my old self, how I loved staying under the rain and how every droplet that touches my flesh gave me joy. I was the girl who believed in getting luck once touched by the first summer rain. But as you grow older, you realize how luck is surreal and that everything happens because you wanted it to happen, not merely because of luck.

While waiting for the rain to subside, I dropped by Brothers Burger in Solenad 1. There are also a number of restaurants in Nuvali like Uncle Cheffy, Conti's, Pig Out, etc. And there's also Krispy Kreme in Solenad 2. You can hit Nuvali's official site for the complete list of restaurants.

Cheeseburger (Php130) and fries (Php75) Brothers Burger is definitely one of the best burgers in town!

After my short snack, I was happy to see Mr. Sun back and there were already people feeding the fishes (koi). Nuvali is often associated with fishes because there's a lot of them in there. They say the carps (or koi) are therapeutic to watch and I just love their golden colors. You'll just be amaze by their number in the pond.

Don't be afraid to go on trips alone. It's a beautiful thing to travel alone, go to beautiful places and ponder on things without anyone influencing your decisions. I actually decided to go on a trip because I had to make the choice. It was a spiritual journey as well. And I am glad that God revealed what I needed to do at the right time and I am amazed by how He placed everything in order.
