Iana's Big Bites: Of Big Dreams and Chili Fries

No comments:

My manly appetite is back after making a frustrating decision- yet I believe I chose the better option. Dreams can wait and everything will truly be worth the wait. I have half a year to fully prepare myself into something I want to pursue, instead of pursuing it next month already. BUT on the day I decided to defer pursuing this dream, an opportunity came back and I am given another chance to take it or leave it. I am quite happy for the next steps that I will take to fully realize my dreams, one step at a time.

To cope up with the temporary frustration, I wanted to treat myself (okay I always treat myself haha!) with my late afternoon cravings for burger and fries. So many burger stalls to try around Iloilo City but I finally had the urge to try Iana's Big Bites, located at St. Joseph School along Diversion Road. It's a small school eatery and they operate on the usual school time (close on Sundays), only up to 6pm.
Behold, all for me! So here comes another awkward moment of taking photos of the food I eat, while some students/guardians/parents stare at me. Haha!

Classic Burger (Php70)
Made of a single slice of tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise, patty (small and thin) and honeydip or mustard?

Chili Fries (Php70)
I say, this is the bomb. A must try for spicy lovers out there! I had no idea if it was spicy because of the chili con carne or was it because the potato wedges were hot? But the combination of these two factors made me breathe fire. My papa loves spices so I also brought this chili fries for him and he loved it.

Aside from burgers and fries, another must try at Iana's is their Philly cheese steak! They also serve breakfast and lunch meals that you should definitely check out.
