No I'm not talking about Taylor Swift's Red. I just can't get enough of Red Velvets! My friends kept on laughing at my tweets recently because I always end up complaining about how a local donut stall run out of Red Velvet Muffins every time I buy one. It's like depriving me of my right to be happy. Haha! To satisfy our sweet cravings and part of our make-your-own celebration for Hannah's birthday, we headed to Dulgies Desserts and Cafe located at La Salette Building, Valeria Street (across SM Delgado).
Red Velvet Cake (Php80/slice)
Words aren't even enough to describe the heavenly taste of Dulgies' cake. It has the right blend of cream cheese and red cake. We also thought why not make a Green Velvet cake? Maybe, it's gonna look inedible.
Red Velvet Sandwich (Php160)
See my previous post about RVS here. This chewy and crispy sandwich is the latest addition to the Red Velvet phenomena. I don't know what's it really called, sandwich? cookies? or both?
Red Velvet Cupcake (Php50)
And of course, cupcakes! Even if they are all red velvet flavored, we can still quite point out the difference between the cake, the cupcake and the sandwich.
We also have our #FOOTD segment. Food-Outfit of the Day. Hahaha! Today is absolutely Red Day! Why not wear according to what you will eat? Hannah and Jessie's favorite color is Red, so yes.
D'Club (Php145)
This is their club sandwich specialty and consists of chicken, ham, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and black rice bread, plus potato chips. This sandwich is definitely worth what you paid for.
Dulgies Cafe is open from Monday-Saturday at 8AM-9PM and 1PM-8PM on Sundays. They have iced drinks, cakes and cupcakes that's surely gonna satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.
