Sen Lek Thai Noodle House: Bipolar Weather

No comments:

Aside from the Intensity 5 earthquake that struck Iloilo City earlier, we have been pretty much experiencing a bipolar weather for a couple of days now. You wake up to a beautiful sunny morning and the next thing you know, dark clouds come and rain starts to pour out. So we had an on-the-spot visit to Sen Lek Thai Noodle House to complement the rainy afternoon, but later turned out to be a rainless afternoon.

Sen Lek Thai Noodle House is located along the highway to Pavia proper, just a distance after Coca-cola Bottlers Inc. (if you're taking the Iloilo City- Pavia route) and right in front of International Builders Corporation. Just look for the purple colored resto on the left aligned with the commercial establishments and you're good to go. This Thai fast food chain was also featured in Inquirer Lifestyle, see full article here.

Sen Lek is the Thai name for Narrow Rice Noodle. They serve noodle soups, dry noodles, meatballs, spring rolls and rice meals. And they were also selling Thai cherries and mangoes for Php60.
Mix Special (Php80)
I love the firm flat noodles, beef and meatballs! This bowl is their best seller and full of "herbs and spices for good health": wanton, bean sprouts, toasted garlic and coriander.

Here's another #feelinglikeapro tip from me. If you want to show or focus on the details, just capture a portion of the whole subject. From above, I only took a photo of the bowl's other half.

Pad Thai (Php85)
So basically, this one has almost the same ingredients with Mix Special (correct me if I'm wrong) only that it's with a sauce instead of broth.

Poy Pia Tod or Thai Fried Spring Rolls (Php60)
We tasted a minty flavor while eating our spring rolls. What's stuffed inside? I had no idea! Haha. But there were carrots, cilantro or coriander, garlic and noodles maybe.
